What is Enterprise Coaching?

Enterprise coaching is like sports coaching, in that it is designed to help you develop and be the best you can be in your field. Coaching is something you should find challenging yet encouraging and should strengthen confidence to ‘go for it’.

Though confidential 1-to-1 discussions you can grow a business idea into business reality, find the confidence to overcome any challenges that hold things back, explore a new way approaching things and maybe find new clients and contacts on the way.

The coaching service is totally free of charge as our experienced Bradford Trident Enterprise Coaches are fully funded.

Satnam Singh

My name is Satnam Singh and I’ve been a BD5 resident for over forty years and still work in the area as a graphic designer for Red Dezign Ltd. I have more than twenty years of experience running my own business in Bradford and throughout the country.

As one of the new business enterprise coaches for Bradford Trident, I hope I can meet with existing and potential entrepreneurs to explore their ideas, passion and the resources available to them. Also, I can assist to create suitable business goals and plans and help to overcome any barriers they might face whilst set up or running their business.

Bolu Fagborun

I’m Bolu Fagborun. I’m an ex-professional sportsman (rugby), I own “Fagborun Ltd” which provides coaching, consultancy and community-based provisions. My company also has business investments ranging from a gardening company to a foreign crop farm.

I believe this area of Bradford has unlimited and untapped potential and am looking forward to working with the ambitious and resilient people who want to take control of their futures. I lived in BD5 during my school days, so it’s always great to be able to return and give something back.

Forming a Community Interest Company

Register as a CIC ‘limited by shares’ if your CIC is more like a business. The owners will each hold shares, just as they would in a regular profit-making business. Each can have a number of shares, thereby defining the degree of control or ownership each holds. Each shareholder has as many votes as they have claims. They may also receive dividends.

Register as a CIC ‘limited by Guarantee’ if your CIC looks more like a charity. The directors can also be called trustees and will each commit to a cash guarantee to be paid if the company fails. The contract is usually set at just £1 each. Each trustee has one vote. Decisions by the committee of trustees/directors are made on a one-person-one-vote basis. No dividend can be paid. This format is more acceptable to most funding bodies.
