Asset Based Community Development – Small Grants Fund (2)

If you know of a grassroots organisation in the Bradford area that has a great idea to improve the health and wellbeing of local people, please encourage them to consider putting together an application for the second round.

The intention is that the funding will promote the values and principles of the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach which builds on the assets that are found in the community and mobilises individuals, associations, and institutions to come together to realise and develop their strengths.

Projects have to be self-sustaining by the communities or services themselves. Projects funded will link with local Community Partnership Priorities, and/or local Ward Plans.

For details of the second round, along with application forms and guidance can be found here.
